Post-Doctoral Research Associate
I am a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Aalto University, Oteniemi, ESPOO, Finland, in the Department of Computer Science. My current research is in dynamo modelling in the Solar convection zone and lower Solar atmosphere. I am working under the Academy of Finland Centre of Excellence: Research on Solar Long-Term Variability and Effects (ReSoLVE).
My previous employment was at Sheffield University (01 Nov 12 - 31 Mar 15) investigating magnetoacoustic waves in the solar atmosphere as part of the Solar Physics and Astrophysics Research Group in the School of Mathematics and Statistics. I completed my PhD in Applied Mathematics and Astrophysics at Newcastle University on "Supernovae Driven Turbulence in the Interstellar Medium" in November 2012 after a first class MMath Degree in Mathematics in 2008.
